GIFF organized a symposium on
12th October 2006 to educate the Ghanaian Public on its activities. The symposium
organized at The La-Palm Royal Beach Hotel was under the chairmanship of Dr
Abbey, Chief Executive Director of The Center for Policy Analysis (CEPA).
The theme "Private Sector Participation in Economic Growth: The Freight
Forwarders Role" was to highlight the contribution an association like GIFF
could give to the Ghanaian economy. The two speakers, both
CEO's of two of the prestigious logistics companies were also members of the
institute's Executive Council.
