Dubbed the Western
gateway, Elubo district serves the western entry point into
Ghana. Members there serve Ghana's trade with those
countries lying to the west of Ghana. The trade is mainly by
road. There is however a bit of sea traffic mainly involving
local dugout canoes. The district is managed by a district
committee made up of a chairman and 9 (nine) members. There
is a secretariat headed by a district officer. Services
provided by members include road haulage, custom clearance,
freight forwarding and ware housing. As with all GIFF
operations members there are capable of handling business in
any of the Ghanaian ports through the GIFF member
affiliation program. For enquiries send e-mail to

Working to Maintain the
Public’s Trust
In order to
maintain the public’s trust in the profession, the district
also implements regular training and public awareness
campaigns and like all other GIFF districts has in place a
committee to investigate complaints. The public are invited
to report fraud, member misconduct and abuse.
